Our Hillbrook Range

For over ten years our wines have been made under contract by Robert Diletti of Castle Rock Estate in the Porongorups. Robert was recently named the inaugural James Halliday Australian Winemaker of the Year. A well-deserved award as those of you who have tried our wines would agree.

• 2016 Hillbrook Chardonnay

Our Chardonnay has been described as 'almost too perfect'. It has been matured in French Oak for 10 months giving a wonderful mouth feel, but allowing the wonderful flavours, ranging from white peach to grapefruit to play across the palate. An elegant wine of great length and balance it can be enjoyed now or for many years to come.

• 2019 Hillbrook Rose

Made from our 20 year old low yielding Merlot vines, this wine has just been bottled.

It is the first Rose we have produced and we are very happy with it.

• 2018 Hillbrook Sauvignon Blanc

The 2018 Savvy opens with a wonderfully fresh bouquet of passionfruit with nuances of guava. The vibrant palate is awash with gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours concluding with a crisp, dry finish.

Ray Jordan 2019 Wine Guide

“This little vineyard in Pemberton consistently pushes out some of the best savvies in the state. This one is another beauty. If you like your savvies then this is for you.

Passionfruit and gooseberry with some of that delicious guava character. Crunchy, minerally finish” 93/100

• 2018 Hillbrook Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Our cool climate Semillon adds a zesty lemon overtone to the classic flavours of our Savvy. A balanced medium bodied wine, its fresh and lively flavours carry through to a clean and crisp finish.

Ray Jordan 2019 Wine Guide

“The Semillon addition to that superb savvy fruit has created a really impressive blended white as an alternative to those from Margaret River. Has [some] more intense minerally characters with a cutting, tense acidity sustaining a controlled vibrant palate. Clean crisp and pure. Excellent." 92/100

• 2013 Hillbrook Merlot

A typically elegant wine contract-made by Rob Diletti. The clear colour announces a light to medium bodied merlot with a mixture of cassis, plum, dried herb and black olive flavours; the fruit and savoury components create good tension.
